Quote-readiness checklist
Put the requested product, unit basis and unresolved evidence questions into one concise document before factories quote.
Name the desired configuration and acceptable alternatives. List zone count, heating method, light-source arrangement, temperature controls, rated voltage and power, usable dimensions, materials, closures, controller and included accessories. Mark values that remain open instead of importing them from an unrelated model.
State sample and potential order quantities separately, using complete sets as the unit. Break the total down by configuration or pack. Add the US city or ZIP context, requested timing and delivery term questions so freight scope is not mixed into an assumed unit price.
Identify labels, manual, packaging artwork, test records or other documents needed for review. Ask which exact manufacturer and model each file covers. Note approval owners and deadlines without promising production, dispatch or regulatory acceptance.
Attach the requirement revision, quantity table, destination, intended channel, packaging notes and any buyer-supplied artwork. The record should distinguish a hard requirement from a preference and identify who can approve an alternative.
Label public specifications and example photos as references. They can show what to ask about, but they do not establish stock, equivalence, safety, documentation or a health outcome for the product being quoted.
Request a completed specification, itemized quotation, pack list, exact-model document index, sample scope, stated production assumptions and exclusions. Record every proposed substitution and do not merge conflicting answers into a single average.
